Song: Grounded Chaos
Grounded chaos, grounded chaos, grounded chaos, grounded chaos, grounded chaos.
Stuck in the chaos, feeling like a lost cause, and I thought, for my peace of mind I just needed silence. Slow down. Stop time. But I was wrong...
Standing in the ocean watch the storms approachin' as the light slices the sky. Under the thunder, lookin' on in wonder and I turned away. I walked away from a moment I belonged in.
What's chaotic? I embody it. Known as the bad kid, so problematic, I'm just dramatic, my shadow element is on the rise. I only made it to the shoreline.
And I'm stuck in between finding peace and being me. Maybe what I thought was peace was just peace keeping and abandoning me.
The pull of nature grabs my hand, turns my shoulder, drags my feet through the sand. I can't stand it anymore.
I'm a soldier and I'm bored. I was born to make peace with the chaos inside me. Can't pretend, I need to see. See the intensity of beauty in everything.
Grounded in the chaos, I was never really lost, welcome in some new thoughts, to find peace in my existence , I needed distance, to get immersed in my suspense.
So I turned back, faced the cracks of lightning in the clouds, watch their spears touch down. Standing in place, as the waves beat my skin, and the flames are closing in. My body rocks from side to side, feel a spark from inside.
What's chaotic? I embody it. Known as the bad kid, so problematic, I'm just dramatic, my shadow element is on the rise. And this time, I'm staying in the climbing tide.
I was stuck in between finding peace and being me.
